first stop: chef katsu in brooklyn
chef katsu is a small japanese eatery nested in the heart of brooklyn. i ordered the pork katsu cutlet with their pumpkin soup and a strawberry hojicha drink.this was a delicious and balanced meal, and i would definitely go again!
second stop: noodle village in chinatown
noodle village is a homey canto spot in the heart of chinatown. the oxtail curry soup was divine and the soup dumplings were so juicy it genuinely blew my mind. it felt like home.
third stop: decibel sake bar in east village
decibel is a dim-lit underground sake bar next to nyu. i ordered an $8 lychee martini and read for a couple hours in a cozy nook. they played great music and service was quick.
